A new website and a fresh look for our social media will follow today! The revised visual language reflects the multivocal nature of the institute and our aim to be an accessible, recognisable and people-friendly museum for architecture, design and digital culture. Another striking new feature is the stylistic change in the organisation’s name: Nieuwe Instituut, with no ‘Het’.

The water in the ponds of Het Nieuwe Instituut is becoming cleaner and healthier for the plants and animals that live in it. This week a thousand rudd and a number of perch have been added!

Lesia Topolnyk wint de Prix de Rome Architectuur 2022, gefeliciteerd!
Lesia won de prijs voor haar ruimtelijk voorstel ‘No innocent landscape, De Healing Site van Lesia, net als dat van de andere architecten, is t/m 9 april 2023 te zien in Het Nieuwe Instituut.
Vanavond is het eindelijk zover! We maken tijdens een feestelijk programma de winnaar van de Prix de Rome Architectuur 2022 bekend!
